What are on-page AI search insights and how do they work?
On-page AI search insights are page-level recommendations for getting your content picked up by AI search. They work by pulling the keywords already earning impressions and clicks for a page, then checking whether those keywords appear in the places that carry weight, and scoring the result. Each check comes back as passing or failing with a written explanation and a list of recommended actions.
Best practices:
- Sort by health and start with the pages marked Needs work, they have the most to gain
- Weigh health against opportunity, a page that needs work and has high opportunity is worth more than one with either alone
- Archive insights as you finish them, the list is meant to be triaged rather than read once
On-page AI search opportunities
Head to Insights in your dashboard. Every page on your site is listed with its path, its category, its tags, how many insights it has, its health, its opportunity level, and when it was last evaluated. Health runs Needs work, On track, and Optimized. Opportunity runs Low, Medium, and High.

Filtering the list
Four filters sit above the table. Search by title or path, filter by category to look at only your blog or only your offering pages, filter by status to switch between active and archived, and filter by source to see only insights driven by a particular signal, including top GSC impressions, GSC clicks, branded and unbranded queries, GA4 impressions, site links, and your own user specified keywords.

Image optimization — alt, description, filename
Optimized Passing content Priority 4Image alt text drives accessibility and helps AI engines describe your page’s visual content. A descriptive filename, a complete alt, and a description — especially one mentioning a keyword you already get impressions for — compound into a rank signal on image search and surface in LLM citations.

What’s the difference between Insights and AI Readiness?
AI Readiness scores your whole site across Accessibility, Technical, Authority, and Content. Insights work page by page and give you specific actions for each one.
Where do the keywords come from?
Google Search Console and GA4, split into impressions, clicks, branded, and unbranded, plus site links and any keywords you specify yourself.
What are the zones?
Three weighted areas of a page. Zone 1 is title, URL, H1, and H2 at 3x. Zone 2 is the first and last 100 words, H3, and image alts at 2x. Zone 3 is H4 to H6, emphasis, and list items at 1x.
